The unique experience of Thai Taste brought to you by its owner and manager, Pom Boobphachati (pictured right). Originally from Bangkok, Pom brings with her a wide array of qualifications and experiences of working in two Thai Restaurants in Massachusetts in 1998-2000 and also running her own restaurant in Brunswick, Maine in 2000. With Bachelor's degree in Public Relations from the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce in Bangkok Pom came to USA to study in the MBA program in Hospitality Administration at Johnson & Wales University at Providence RI, which she successfully completed in 2000. While earning her MBA she spent some time waitressing and learning the art of customer service at a Thai Restaurant in Boston. Later she was approached by her boss to start a restaurant in Brunswick, ME which she successfully managed for over a year. She understands the importance of quality fresh food, authentic taste and customer satisfaction, which translates into highly ranked reviews by local newspapers and customer testimonials. Recently Thai Taste is ranked in the top 6 Maine Ethnic restaurants by MaineToday.com on Sunday, March 13, 2005.

Recently she returned from Thailand where she learned about today's most popular meals in modern and traditional Thai Cuisine. Today renovated Thai Taste welcomes you with its warm elegance, authentic elephant wallpaper and comfortable waiting area to ensure that you enjoy your every moment while waiting for your take-out order.

Another exciting news is that Thai Taste has just been upgraded to 40 seats: this means that we now welcome large private parties and provide catering services !

After return from vacation in November 2005 Pom decided to open a second restaurant location to satisfy the popular requests of customers from Saco, Old Orchard Beach, Scarborough and other towns nearby. The new location - Pom's Thai Restaurant located in the heart of South Portland meets the needs of many loyal customers who work in Maine Mall area. In addition, the new location is in a close proximity to Portland International Jetport (PWM) and all major hotels in the area. We can be assured that Pom's unique cuisine, tropical drinks, authentic atmosphere and exceptional service is now made available to residents, daily shoppers, business travelers and many tourists that are visiting Portland area every day.
